Es una especie de sansevieria no descrita hasta 1995. Lo más distintivo de esta planta es su forma de crecimiento: las hojas se agrupan en verticilos de cinco y se estrechan hasta acabar en una punta espinosa, con un canal aplanado de poca profundidad en su parte superior. Emite estolones con raíces gruesas que semejan zancos sobre los que la planta parece caminar. 

Produce inflorescencias con numerosas flores de color blanco. 

La reproducción es fácil enraizando los estolones.

Soporta sólo heladas muy débiles.

Sansevieria species first described in 1995. The distinctiveness of this plant lies in its growth form: the leaves stack in compact rows of five finishing in a sharp tip. It keeps adding more rows until they either flop over or send out stolons. Stolons have thick roots that look like walking legs or stilts.

It produces inflorescences with white flowers. 

Propagation is easy by rooting the stolons. 

It withstands only very light frosts.
