VIBURNUM TINUS
Origen: zona mediterránea
Nombre común: durillo, laurentino o laurel salvaje.
Arbusto de hoja peremne, con hojas similares a las del laurel. Florece al final del invierno y principios de la primavera. Posteriormente las flores se convirten en bayas de color azul oscuro que no son comestibles.
Se propaga con facilidad por semillas. Muchas de ellas germinan solas lejos de la planta madre transportadas por pájaros.
Resistente a las heladas.
