ODONTONEMA CALLISTACHYUM

Origen: México y Centroamérica


Es un arbusto de hoja peremne que puede alcanzar 1,5 metros de altura. 


En su zona de origen es polinizado por colibríes, de ahí la forma de sus flores.


Se reproduce muy bien enraizando los chupones que crecen en la base de las plantas. 

No soporta la falta de agua. 


Resiste heladas débiles.

Origin: Mexico and Central America
It´s an evergreen shrub thay may grow to about 1,5 metres high. 
In its native areas is visited by hummingbirds, hence the shape of its flowers.
Propagation is very easy by rooting suckers.
It doesn´t withstand droughts.
It withstands light frosts.
