LAS PRIMERAS HOJAS "FEROXES"
En Recregarden tenemos dos ejemplares de Encephalartos ferox. El primero llegó hace cinco años y aún no ha echado una sola hoja. El segundo llegó esta primavera, rescatado de un vivero donde estaba etiquetado como ¡grevillea!, y tiene un tronco principal y dos hijuelos. Uno de ellos nos ha dado sus primeras hojas.

In Recregarden we have two specimens of encephalartos ferox. First one arrived five years ago and it hasn´t produced any new leaf. Second one arrived this last spring, bought in a nursery where it was labelled as a grevillea!. It has a main stem an two suckers. One of them has given us our first new leaves.
