HIBISCUS ARNOTTIANUS
Origen: Hawai (su nombre vernáculo significa "el que es blanco como el brillo de la plata")
Esta especie de hibisco es un arbusto o pequeño arbolito que, en condiciones idóneas, puede alcanzar los 6 metros de altura.
Teóricamente se reproduce por esquejes o acodo, pero en recregarden no lo hemos conseguido.
Es sensible al frío. Sólo soporta heladas muy débiles y cortas.

This species is a big srhub or little tree that, in optimal conditions, can grow to 6 metres high.
Propagation is by cuttings or air layering, but here in Recregarden we haven´t been susceccfull until now.
It´s frost tender so it withstands only very light and short frosts.
